MINNESOTA SUPER X INC. is the only Official Excelsior-Henderson service Center in the Nation! Now you can own one of the rarest of all Modern American-made Classics. Less Than 2000 EXCELSIOR-HENDERSON X Models are in existence.
The Super X boasts innovative styling,strong anti-dive brakes,flawless fuel injection,impeccable comfort,and incomparable handling.
You'll experience stump-pulling torque,shifting into fifth gear at 100MPH.The1386cc V-TWIN engine,with twin cams in each 4-valve head,delivers 65 horsepower and 70 foot-pounds to the rear-wheel.
The distinctive "leading-link" front-end delivers true anti-dive braking. The front brake consists of a huge 11.5 rotor gripped by a Four-Piston caliper,producing impressive stopping power. This unique front-end allows the Super X to handle, brake,and Suck up potholes better than any BIG TWIN you'll ever ride.
Minnesota Super X Inc. has purchased the entire remaining inventory of Genuine Excelsior Henderson parts (many semi-trailer loads). Our Factory-trained Research & Development department has designed the imperative updates necessary to keep the modern Excelsior-Henderson in front of the V-Twin crowd,stocking enough spare parts to keep Your classic V-Twin on the road long into the next Generation!

MINNESOTA SUPER X IMPERATIVE UPDATES
(1)Even though the engine is rubber- mounted,the air cleaner and the intake system transmits vibration through it's brackets,and as a result,the heads become cracked.Our solution was to design and fabricate an extremely strong intake system from Billet Aluminum.

(2)We installed a washable,reusable,high-flow,high performance K & N Air Filter.

(3)We have re-mapped the Electronic Fuel Injection to match the increased horse-power curve.

(4)The gearbox is lubricated by a constant flow of cooled oil. The original brass "metering jet" proved defective, and the gearbox internals became damaged by lack of lubrication and excessive heat,we fabricated a NEW stainless steel metering jet, and have eliminated the problem.

(5)We redesigned and improved the gearbox bushings.

(6)The shifter return spring has been redesigned and improved.

(7)Stoplight to stoplight city riding caused overheating. We installed A Genuine Factory Excelsior-Henderson oil cooler. A fan-assisted oil-cooler is available for extreme-climate customers.

(8)Rear wheel bearings would eventually spin in the aluminum hub,Our solution was to fabricate a steel race for the left rear wheel bearing.

(9)We fabricated a newly designed, double-wide race for the updated twin wheel bearings on the drive-side of the hub.

(10)Serious electrical problems became prevalent, and R & D discovered an inferior-designed system of electrical grounding. We replaced the inferior grounding straps,and repositioned any Positive connections that were prone.

(11)The starter solenoid was upgraded.

(12)The front belt-drive pully has been re-designed.

(13)The primary case, containing the clutch and alternator,is cooled by oil-flow and the oil return pipe has been repositioned with a new pick-up tube.

(14)We've overhauled the oil pump.

(15)We've improved the fuel pump.

(16)We've improved the battery box.

(17)We've improved the front brake light switch.

(18)We've installed vibration-proof L.E.D.taillight bulbs (optional).

(19)We've re-calibrated the torque specification of the steering head.

(20)We've re-calibrated the E.C.U. (Engine ControL Unit).

(21)We've upgraded the clutch slave seals.

(22)We've changed the spark plug Specification.

(23)We've altered the drive belt adjustment specification.

These rebuilt Super X's are more reliable than the original production machines. With the upgrades designed by our Factory-Trained Research and Development Department,we fully expect the RELIABLE V-TWIN to deliver 100,000 miles of riding pleasure!
